Hello Hive, the Gacha world has just seen another beauty come to life in the form of Augusta, the regent of the Septimont region in Wuthering Waves. Radiant as the Sun, Augusta is praised by her people and worshipped as the strongest and most skilled warrior there is. I hadn't played for a while, but when I saw this character coming, I made a quick return, farmed all the astrite possible, and got ready to obtain this marvelous queen. Here I share my first impressions of Augusta.

If you have been in the gacha world of recent years, I bet you can make some connections to this character design as well as I can. For me, Augusta is like Raiden Shogun and MAvuikahad a baby. She is an Electro Character with the looks of a Pyro archon. Nonetheless, that is a really cool fusion. She has an imposing presence and deadly combat skills. She is a broadblade user, but she makes her blade out of the ones left on the battlefield by her enemies and comrades. Her weapon is truly the thunder-made blade. Not only that, but Augusta's weapon takes a couple of different forms in battle. She was designed to be a main DPS character. Since my last one was the freely given Xiangli Yao, I urgently needed an update.

After getting halfway through Provola during the last update, I just stopped playing due to many bugs and performance issues with the game. Wuwa is known for its frequent patches, which occur almost daily. So, I decided to give the game some time. Now, near the upcoming release of the current update version, I farmed all I could for Augusta, and I am happy to say that I got her! Her weapon is another story. Let's see if we can get that one in the days to come.

Augusta has a DPS kit based on charged attacks. This is the second character Wuwa introduces that breaks the pattern in terms of dynamics. She is meant to use her skills, gain a special forte bar, and then unleash special attacks with her Griffon familiar and a second ultimate move. Now charging this forte bar is quite meticulous and challenging.

>Augusta tiene un conjunto de DPS basado en ataques cargados. Este es el segundo personaje que Wuwa presenta y que rompe con el esquema en cuanto a dinámica. Está diseñada para usar sus habilidades, obtener una barra de fortaleza especial y luego desatar ataques especiales con su familiar Grifo y un segundo movimiento definitivo. Cargar esta barra de fortaleza es bastante meticuloso y desafiante.
Once you use most of her abilities in regular combat, the sun meter in the middle of the forte bar will charge and allow you to do a special skill using her griffin familiar. IT counts as using three elemental skills, but of charge attack damage. Having a creature aid her in battle is a great plus for me, and it hadn't been seen since Baizi, to be honest. After performing these skills in succession, we finally have a complete forte.

>Una vez que uses la mayoría de sus habilidades en combate regular, el medidor de sol en el centro de la barra de forte se cargará y te permitirá realizar una habilidad especial con su grifo mascota. Cuenta como usar tres habilidades elementales, pero carga daño de ataque. Tener una criatura que la ayude en combate es un gran atractivo para mí, y para ser honesto, no lo había visto desde Baizi. Después de realizar estas habilidades consecutivamente, por fin tenemos una fortaleza completa.
Now to the good stuff. Augusta's second burst is the whole reason for her kit and the main source of damage. This ability makes her feel truly like a deity. She slows time and provides six seconds of that to slash the enemies with a newly formed long katana. After those precious seconds, she unleashes a final blow and destroys the whole battlefield along with her enemies. Most players are uploading content with Augusta slowing time as she walks with her weapon extended next to the most powerful bosses in the game. This feels just like raw, true power.
Her damage is currently not complete meta. Cartethyia still outperforms her, but upcoming characters can even the competition with proper buffs and aid in battle. Even so, her current damage competes with Carlotta, and of course, it power crept previous electro characters. I highly recommend going for her; she currently has some good F2P options as companions, and we will probably see Augusta going up in the meta in the short term. Aside from that, if you like her design and story, have fun and pull for her! If you play wuwa, let me know to add you as a friend.

Tras esos preciosos segundos, desata un golpe final y destruye todo el campo de batalla junto con sus enemigos. La mayoría de los jugadores suben contenido con Augusta ralentizando el tiempo mientras camina con su arma extendida junto a los jefes más poderosos del juego. Esto se siente como poder puro y abundante.

>Su daño no está completamente desarrollado en el metajuego. Cartethyia aún la supera, pero los próximos personajes pueden igualar a la competencia con mejoras adecuadas y ayuda en batalla.
