Since I was a child, I've seen this man walk around our town. His name is Ocario, but people usually call him Ocarion because he was a great man. Now you see him tired and old, but in his youth, he was a giant of a man. I'd dare to say his height was around 6 feet 11 inches. He had many children, including Pandorga. Whenever he walked, people would ask, "And your dad, "Cayo " And he'd say, "There he is, there he is." I always thought he was a lazy old man because he spent his whole life wandering from house to house. But in the end, I concluded that wasn't the case. Years take their toll, and that strong and hardworking man you had when you're young is no longer the same when old age and ailments kick in. The kids take care of him, and they'll be the ones to provide for Ocarion or Don Cayo.

The other day, I saw him on the street, and I stopped to greet him. Time is against him now; he can barely hear, so I had to talk to him using gestures. The man just shouts, "Just waiting for death." According to my calculations, he's around 90 years old, with a life full of hard work, poverty, misery, hunger, women, and alcohol - the kind of life we all desire and enjoy, right? So, I'll leave you with these thoughts, and when you see an old man and think, "What a lazy old man," remember that years don't pass in vain, and the ailments of old age hurt. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to reach old age, if we make it. Let's respect our elders. See you soon.
