A week ago we had a lot of snow in the city.
The temperature was also winter, with a good minus. The winter was long. Started ahead of time. And proudly stepped into the month of March. It seemed that winter did not want to give way to spring. But everything changed quickly. As soon as precipitation fell above the norm, the ice immediately began to melt. The water in the rivers rose.
And now the rivers are trying to free themselves from under winter clothes. It turns out successfully.
In March, rainfall exceeded the norm. As if winter thought that we didn’t have enough snow, we need to make up for it, despite the fact that according to the calendar, spring has already arrived.
Now I can't believe that six days ago there was a lot of snow around.
And the woodpecker tapped out his drum roll, as if calling for a belated spring to come quickly.
That's what spring means, albeit early. The sun warmed up a little and then the snow began to melt actively. After all, the spring sun, even at low temperatures, warms much better than in winter. It is a pity that the sun rarely visits us.
And immediately there were puddles. Melted under the gentle sun. I love it when trees look in puddles as if in a mirror.
Street dogs are also happy with spring. Basking under the first rays of the sun. I was so happy with the sun that I took my camera with me to work. I'm at work all day, so I had to make time during my lunch break to shoot. Spring is changeable, one day is not like another. There are more cloudy days than sunny ones. It is worth not to miss any opportunity to admire nature.
Although there are no spring colors yet, the very feeling of the awakening of nature pleases.
It's a pity that we rarely have sunny days. The sun was shining yesterday. Not a whole day, but at least the blue sky appeared. It's already cloudy today. Solid clouds covered the sky.
There seems to be nothing out of the ordinary in nature. But the fact that there are signs of spring is already uplifting.
The birds are happy too. Their voices are already heard everywhere. Spring came. Nature comes to life. Very soon there will be a lot of beauty. In the meantime, the joyful expectation of the approaching riot of spring colors.
And here I am in the evening on my way home from work - the sun says goodbye to the city before going to bed. Finally, generously endows with bright rays.
