There's not much going on today, boring, mundane and...ah fuck that y'all! You think I'd ever feel like a weekend was boring and mundane? No fucken way; even if I don't have much going on I'd not call a weekend such heinous things as boring and mundane.
A little while ago I bought a new pushbike and have been riding a bit, between 17 and 21 kilometres 4-5 times a week. I know, it's not a long way but I keep my average speed up to between 18-19kp/h on average and on the bike I have (mountain bike not road bike) that's not too bad - there's elevation as well. Anyway, I went for a ride at 6am for 45 minutes and did almost 20 kilometres.
Breakfast was next, a newly opened cafe not too far away. That's breakfast in the image - smashed avocado, poached eggs, bacon and mushrooms with feta cheese and sun dried tomatoes. There's a lot happening on that plate but it all worked well and I smashed that shit down and had a coffee to energise for todays other mission...I'll be heading there after I type this.
So, a while back I bought a new truck - *I fucken love it* - but, there's something else that has caught my eye and I'm thinking of adding it to my stable (garage). One can never have too many vehicles. The vehicle I'm looking at is the ***Ineos Grenadier 4x4*** and specifically the *"Quartermaster"*. ***Grenadier YouTube Video***
I'm pretty keen on having one to be honest and have been researching capabilities and features plus what options and accessories will work for me. It always comes down to usage, *how it will work for me* and, of course, *I don't like shit things* so it's got to stand up to my fairly stringent inspection and standards.
I'm heading to the dealership shortly and am looking forward to filling in some blanks and stepping the plans forward so that my truck will have a buddy to keep it company in the garage.
The reset of the weekend is going to be another bike ride and probably a hike (I have Monday off so fucken *huzzah to that!* It'll mean I can hike and ride on separate days and a picnic will happen on the hiking trip as well I presume...my girl-human will come along. It's also a Formula One race weekend so I'll be watching that live from Austin, Texas.
Boring and mundane? Fuck that shit.
