I'm not able to count the number of aircraft in which I've flown including fixed wing and other aircraft like helicopters. I've been around a bit and spent a fair amount of time in the air for various reasons.
At times I've had the luxury of time to look outside and enjoy the view and on those occasions have usually tried to take a photo of what's out the window; due to being a terrible photographer those photos have been reasonably average however I keep trying.
Recently, I flew home from a location in New South Wales, Australia on a day flight and looked out the window to see...well, you can see what I saw in the image above.
Some of that white stuff is clouds but some is snow-covered mountains, something that only happens in a few parts of Australia. I'm not exactly certain where those mountains were but am pretty sure it was the *Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park*, home of our tallest mainland peak, Mount Kosciuszko, 2228 metres above sea level.

Have you flown much and if so where have you been. Also, do you have any photos you've taken from the window of an aircraft? If you have, and want to share, drop them into the comments below.
