Today's review of one of the most awaited games of this month and the best-selling game in the history of the assassin's creed in the launch period which is the Assassin's Creed Valhalla which comes in the period of vikings and which I have been waiting for this period for a long time and the reason I think is my love for the series of vikings.
If you have never heard of the game before, you will play a character named Ivor who can choose either male or female, and then lead the warriors across the icy North Sea until you reach England and build a settlement.
Ivor wants to go to England in order to obtain resources from his clan and also to avenge something he did in the past. The game ghosts the assassin's creed Odyssey and even Origins. If you are one of the people who did not like these parts, your opinion can change now that assassin's creed Valhalla is better than them.
The clan in the game always plays an important role. There are different and varied activities and good dialogues that reminded me at some time of the game red dead redemption 2. As I said, the dialogues are good and fit that period.
As for the style of the game, the best thing that happened is to remove the level I hated a lot, at first we feel the diversity of the abilities tree that consists of 350 abilities that can be unlocked, but most of them are repeated (an example of what I say the skill of increasing health is more than 20 times)
There is a variety in the style of the game, so two weapons can be used at the same time, so this idea gives you a great feeling in fighting, and also the abilities create diversity in the battle. And the second thing in which there is diversity and is the personalization of the character, you can choose hair and add tattoos, whether for male or female, you can switch between male and female for your character at any time in play. This is a very welcome addition and a third option is to switch between them when the game sees fit - that was my choice in this case.
There is no big difference between a man and a female, as they are both ferocious and bloodthirsty, but personally one of the Vikings icons is his beard and ax, which is why my tendencies were for the male character. Small axes are one of my favorite weapons and I have always played with two axes, and my strategy was to avoid enemy strikes and pounce on them with successive attacks. In the event that you are looking for a challenge in the combat system, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not the right choice, where on medium difficulty, I have not seen any challenge with different weapons and the same strategy can always be applied to either the bosses or the ordinary enemies.
And I can say that I enjoyed wandering around and fighting in the wonderful open world. The open world is big and contains a lot of activities and there are some activities that show you that the world is alive and not revolving around you just like Odyssey, which is a good thing. Of course, in case you want to play as stealth and use the famous blade, the best thing is to bring back the blade that was missing in the previous two parts.
"The raids" are an important part of the game because it is the only way to obtain the resources that you use in developing your settlement. By developing it, you can develop your weapons and your equipment and thus you know why they are important now, but it turns into repetition and boredom over time, at first it is fun. Indeed, with repetition, you will feel bored, especially at that moment when you ask your allies to help break into a closed door by force, or open treasure boxes, in which the same scene is repeated with the same voice acting as well.
There is a clear flaw in the game that has spoiled the raids, which is the artificial intelligence (AI), whether for enemies or allies, and it seems that it is a problem in Ubisoft games in general and not in Assassin's Creed Valhalla only, as the same problems were present in the latest releases of the company Watchdogs: Legion, but here it was more Unfortunately, unfortunately, the fingerprint of the new generation has not yet appeared when it comes to AI intelligence, it will happen that enemies behave stupidly in many situations, as well as allies, for example, you will find that allies do not respond to orders and you may have to ask them more than once.
Also, after the end of a battle, for example, you will go to talk to one of the main characters of the game to complete the mission, but you will find that character stumbling on the way to the place where it is supposed to stand, and you may sometimes have to repeat the mission in order to fix that mistake, which is one of the most things that you were Repulsive in general.
The animation in the game did not like me much, and I did not feel that and did not feel that it was appropriate for the year 2020, but the graphics are in an amazing world and have a lot of time, and England in general looks bright and colorful despite the war and destruction.
In the end, I can say that Assassin's Creed Valhalla made us live the Viking experience in a way that befits it, improved its problems and built its foundation in role-playing style and was good and great at some times, but does not provide us with great innovation from the previous part.
