The Legend of Heroes series of games has built an excellent name among the community of players because of the deep story that holds many secrets, its large world, interconnected characters of various dimensions, and the deep and fun classic fighting system.

From the very beginning of the game, the secrets of Zemuria were hinted at and it was time to reveal them in this game.

And the fourth part of the game culminates in the legendary story that the game's developer told us in the series Trails in the Sky. As usual, new characters appeared, and the protagonist is still Rean Schawrzer.

Many loyal comrades from outside of the Irboyana empire would come to his aid the hero, making the number of characters participating in this final battle the largest in the history of the series and Japanese RPG history in general.

The story of the game is closely related to the last three parts, and the game covers the story of the Kingdom of Liberl and the state of Crossbell, so the game covers three large provinces from the five that make up the huge world of Zemuria.

And as I said earlier, there are many characters inside the game that have a direct impact on the course of the story. The question here is, has the developer been able to highlight all the characters and show them excellently? The developer has added many details in the conversations that take place between the characters in the main or side scenes, and this is the largest number of cinematic scenes in the history of the series.

The conversations that take place between the characters are more lively and logical and every word I wrote contains a lot of emotion due to the long history of the series. The story of the game impressed me with all its details.

The game gives you from the start your own plane that allows you to discover the game world and open many game areas, and some of these areas open up with the passing of the stages.

Discovering the world does not mean losing the discovery of many side quests, but rather I considered them a key factor in discovering the problem facing the heroes of the game.

The main war risks seem real and realistic because you discover everyone holding many lives in their hands, and therefore the continuous play shows you the interaction of the characters with each of those millions and the way wars actually affect countries on many various levels, and don't specialise in the most characters' fights only. The villains also are not just numbers that exist to feature challenges and dramatic facts to the story, but rather, just like the heroes, most of them are in a method or another closely associated with the community shown within the story.

Whether this bond is family, career, or the other reason, bad guys should believe an entire lot of progress before making any plan because they're still ordinary people that want their country to prosper after every war with minimal losses, and that they aren't just mindless machines trying to find destruction. Before anything and justify everything you are doing through melodrama and sad and sad memories, or because the sport wants to display huge and enthusiastic battles without convincing excuses or actual construction of the explanations that would make such confrontations.

The movements of the characters need to be thought long, like a game of chess. The reason is that your movement has great political, economic and social weight, and the plans of ideas are deep and difficult to predict, and it is extremely difficult to find any work, whether cinematic work or a game that has depth in this interconnected story.

It is very difficult to write a story from who is in this series in a day or a year, but it takes many years to write this masterpiece in all respects.

The combat system in the game is mostly identical to the style presented by Trails of Cold Steel III, but many changes have been made to balance the systems, and many of the characters' commands are much weaker than they were before, and must be upgraded from Find treasure chests throughout the world. These boxes give the player a difficult experience or battle that determines the use of some specific characters, but these characters get rewards and boosters whenever they complete one of these experiences or challenges.

It now appears that the enemies need to inflict more damage on them in order for the player to outpace the defenses they set, and bosses can now regain their full energy after their life points are reduced to a certain point, which makes battles more difficult, especially for players who are proficient at breaking defenses The opponent is such that it prevents them from moving completely, and this point really was one of the flaws that were plaguing the main battles in the previous games.

The game's visual soundtrack has evolved as usual from the acoustics team for developer Nihon Falcom games.

Trails of Cold Steel IV is the best finale for fans of the series who have been playing the game for many years. And the game showed all the characters perfectly.

FINAL EVALUATION

10/10

Trails of Cold Steel IV is the perfect ending that long-time fans of the series have been looking for, it is interested in shedding light on all the characters without exception, and the course of events depends completely on all the information that has been provided over the years as it adds more secrets and motivating hints For what is coming in the future, you respect the time fans spend with the series and reward them with what they deserve
