Nintendo continues its losing streak with the NES online launch

I was excited to hear that not only would Nintendo be releasing a selection of NES games for online multiplayer but that they would be free of charge with an online subscription. What a great way to get a whole bunch of people back into retro library playing with one another. Let's start by heading into the matchmaking lobby. Oh wait a minute there is none.

Nintendo, you've gone and fucked this one up real bad. There is no way to play these games online without exchanging friend codes. And who is going to do that? Your mom? No she's too busy for that shit too. And let's say I were to exchange codes or befriend some schmuck from across the globe, what are the chances of him being online at the exact time playing Pro Wrestling when I want to? You see where you fucked up yet? Or are you that batshit blind to how the real world works? There is no way that anyone is going to be able to experience these game online. The only way for it to be possible is by connecting with random assholes from across the universe you never met before. Way to kill your own IP while sinking the retrogaming market. And don't even get me started on the fact that you didn't add leaderboards for high score or speedruns. Thanks for nothing. Maybe SNK 40th anniversary will do better.
