The situation created in the game is very emotional, but deep inside, Jin Sakai is broken because he couldn't keep up with the legacy. He failed to save his uncle at Komuda Castle. The sadness of failing takes him to the flashback of his father's death and funeral. He feels the same pain and helplessness as he felt in the past.  Jin Sakai's father was the protector of many more clans in Tsushima. They all gathered at the funeral to comfort Sakai. They all bowed to him as they all accepted him as their new protector. After he was defeated by Khatun Khan and reached the beach, he was thinking about all of these with his broken heart.  The ending is perfect and charming, as our hero was riding his horse through a huge and beautiful pampas grass field, making his mind fresh and his willpower strong.
