Feliz martes para toda mi gente activa de Hive, espero que se encuentren bien y tengan muchas metas trazadas en esta semana. La verdad es que todos tenemos una agenda que cumplir y es muy satisfactorio cuando la podemos sacar adelante. >>Happy Tuesday to all my active Hive folks, I hope you are well and have many goals set for this week. The truth is that we all have a schedule to keep, and it is very satisfying when we can get it done.  Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia de una mujer que hoy por hoy puedo decir después de haberla conocido, que es una hermana y una amiga muy especial que me regaló la vida. Audris fue una mujer que pasó por momentos muy difíciles y aterradores en su vida, lamentablemente se dejó atrapar por uno de los vicios más oscuro y desolado con la que una persona puede luchar, “las drogas”, no solo fue deteriorando su cuerpo y apariencia, sino le hizo daño a su familia y entorno. >>Today I want to share with you the experience of a woman who, after getting to know her, I can now say is a very special sister and friend who gave me life. Audris was a woman who went through very difficult and terrifying moments in her life. Unfortunately, she got caught up in one of the darkest and most devastating vices a person can struggle with: drugs. Not only did it deteriorate her body and appearance, but it also hurt her family and those around her.  Ella fue objeto de mucha burla y desprecio por quienes no alcanzan a imaginar lo duro que puede ser vivir un proceso como ese. Esas personas que se sienten con el derecho de juzgar y sentenciar a la persona como una causa perdida. Pero afortunadamente la historia real de esta valiente mujer terminó de forma diferente. Aunque estuvo muchos años sumergida en esa oscuridad, ella pudo ver esa luz al final de túnel, una luz de la cual se aferro y le permitió salir poco a poco del hueco donde se encontraba. >>She was the object of much ridicule and contempt by those who cannot imagine how hard it can be to go through such a process. These are people who feel they have the right to judge and condemn the person as a lost cause. Fortunately, however, the real story of this brave woman ended differently. Although she was immersed in that darkness for many years, she was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, a light she clung to and which allowed her to gradually climb out of the hole she was in. Bien dicen por allí, se requiere de motivos sinceros y fuerza de voluntad para querer lograr el cambio que tanto se desea. En su caso ella necesito la ayuda y la fuerza de un ser superior, Dios, de quién empezó a obtener conocimiento y eso le dió el impulso a cambiar de personalidad y a lograr lo que para mucho era imposible, dejar ese nefasto vicio. >>As they say, it takes sincere motives and willpower to achieve the change you desire so much. In her case, she needed the help and strength of a higher being, God, from whom she began to gain knowledge, and that gave her the impetus to change her personality and achieve what many thought was impossible: to give up that terrible vice.  Audris es la prueba convincente que si podemos dejar atrás quienes fuimos para convertirnos en personas con una mente y un corazón nuevo. Compartiendo con ella el día sábado, nos contaba con mucha emoción que gracias a su nueva conducta ha servido de testimonio para muchas personas, en especial para sus vecinos, quienes conocieron con más detalles su experiencia y que hoy se encuentran al frente de una mujer totalmente diferente. Ella logró ganarse el respeto de sus vecinos y de las personas que han sido testigo de su transformación, eso por supuesto la llena de mucha emoción. >>Audris is convincing proof that we can leave behind who we were and become people with a new mind and heart. Spending time with her on Saturday, she told us with great emotion that thanks to her new behavior, she has served as a testimony to many people, especially her neighbors, who learned more about her experience and now see a totally different woman. She has earned the respect of her neighbors and the people who have witnessed her transformation, which of course fills her with great emotion.  Mientras escribo para ustedes está historia la cual fue autorizada por ella para hacerlo, no dejo de suspirar y sentir un orgullo especial por mi amiga, quien cambió lágrimas de sufrimientos por lágrimas de felicidad. Esto es posible gracias a la misericordia inmerecida de Dios y a sus sabios consejos que encontramos en su palabra. A veces pensamos que algunas cosas son imposibles de lograr, pero cuando conocemos a nuestro Padre Celestial nos convencemos de su amor por nosotros, y que para él todo es posible. >>As I write this story for you, which she has authorized me to do, I cannot help but sigh and feel a special pride for my friend, who exchanged tears of suffering for tears of happiness. This is possible thanks to God's undeserved mercy and the wise counsel we find in His Word. Sometimes we think that some things are impossible to achieve, but when we know our Heavenly Father, we are convinced of his love for us, and that for him everything is possible.  Espero haber logrado el objetivo principal de mi publicación, hacer reflexionar a quienes luchan con un vicio o cualquier cosa que afecte su vida. Si Audris pudo ustedes también, pero es importante la determinación, humildad y la valentía de pedir ayuda para poder dar esos pasos que al principios serán muy dolorosos, pero que al final te llevarán a la salida, al encuentro de una mejor vida, rodeada de personas que valoran tu lucha y celebran la nueva persona que eres. >>I hope I have achieved the main objective of my publication, which is to make those who struggle with an addiction or anything else that affects their lives reflect. If Audris could do it, so can you, but it is important to have determination, humility, and the courage to ask for help in order to take those steps that will be very painful at first, but that will ultimately lead you to the exit, to a better life, surrounded by people who value your struggle and celebrate the new person you have become.
