After a rough week, it was time to retreat for a few days to one of my favourite places in South Africa - the Drakensberg mountains. Being a mere 3 hour drive from my home, the scenery and surroundings make you feel as if you've been transported to an entirely different world, regardless of the fact that home exists on the same piece of land.
I spent the days (and occasional night) shooting a ton of photos and videos mostly on my drone, with a few photographic endeavors reserved for my DSLR. The photo you see here was taken on one of those aforementioned DSLR endeavors - I mean, just look at that sunset!
Sadly this amazing lighting didn't last for long, and I only managed to fire out three quick shots before the golden rays entirely disappeared. But as I always say, one photo is better than no photos right?
