Today i would like to share the recipe of simple Fry aloo(potatoes) It is indian most popular recipes there are 1000 ways of making Fry potatoes i think everyone as it own way of cooking But as always i always cook simple and Quick recipes. In this recipe Raw potatoes are cooked with Indian Spices. It is Ideal recipe which can be served as side dish of your Meals. These Fry aloo is liked all the age group from kids to Adults even kids like it very much. As it is quick to prepared so you can also serve in the tiffin box with breads.

Ingredients📃


• 2 Potatoes.
• 2 tbsp of Oil.
• 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
• Pinch of asafoetida.
• 1 tbsp of red Chilli Powder.
• 2 tbsp of Coriander Powder.
• 1 tbsp of kathuri Methi.
• salt to taste.

Wash the pototes, peel off it ... Cut in the shape of cubes as show in the picture. Try to make it thin or small cubes to hasten the cooking process.

Heat oil the kadai in the Kadai. To be healthy always prefer Olive oil, Mustard Oil or Desi Ghee for cooking.

Now add the cumim seeds and asafoetida, wait untill it start crackling.

On Low flame add the red chilli powder and Coriander Powder. stir for a second. Remember your flame should be low otherwise your Spices will burn and turned Black in Colour. So be careful.

Now Add the potatoes, Mix it well so that spices get well coated with spice.

Add salt, you can adjust the salt as per your Taste.

Add crush the kathuri mehti with your palm, which increases its flavour and Aroma.

Cook the potatoes covered on low flame,Until the potatoes are cooked thoroughly. Keep stirring the potatoes at times so that they do not stick to the bottom.

When your potatoes are done, stir them well, now your potatoes are ready to be served, pair it with Indian Paratha or Roti(bread). Even you can use it as stuffing in your Sandwich.
