Nick Foles was the prize catch last off season. The Jacksonville Jaguars were the big winners in that sweepstakes by handing Foles the largest contract in team history.
Now, a year later, Foles is on his way to the Bears for a conditional 4th round pick. By making this move, the Jags take a hit of over $18 million. By releasing Blake Boyels last March, the team has eaten $32 million the past two years.
The Bears were looking for a quarterback to compete with Mitchell Trubinsky who had a stellar rookie season but struggled in year two.
