Las gaviotas de otoño (pintura en acuarela) / Autumn Seagulls (watercolor painting)

Saludos hivers. Cuando pensamos en el mar nos viene a la mente el sonido de las olas, el sol, la arena y las gaviotas. Las gaviotas son aves muy sociables y relacionadas con los humanos, han aprendido a seguir los botes y los barcos para aprovechar la pesca y llevarse su ración, y también son muy útiles en los puertos ya que ayudan a limpiar las aguas de los restos que lanzan los pescadores. La orilla de la playa es su lugar favorito y se les puede ver buscando alimento entre la arena o las piedritas. >Hello hivers. When we think of the sea, the sound of waves, the sun, the sand, and seagulls come to mind. Seagulls are very sociable birds and closely related to humans. They have learned to follow boats and ships to take advantage of the catch and get their fill. They are also very useful in ports, helping to clear the water of debris thrown out by fishermen. The shoreline is their favorite place, and they can be seen searching for food among the sand or pebbles. En muchos países ya ha llegado el otoño así que hoy les traigo una escena de gaviotas en la orilla de una playa desierta y nublada que espero que sea de su agrado 😊. >Autumn has already arrived in many countries, so today I bring you a scene of seagulls on the shore of a deserted, cloudy beach that I hope you like 😊.

Para pintar esta pacífica escena utilicé una cartulina reciclada, lápiz, borrador, pinceles, acuarelas y lápiz de ojos blanco. Empecé con un sencillo boceto. >To paint this peaceful scene, I used recycled cardboard, a pencil, an eraser, paintbrushes, watercolors, and white eyeliner. I started with a simple sketch.  El día está nublado y frío así que este grupo de gaviotas se ha reunido en la orilla de esta playa solitaria para comer, acicalarse y descansar. Los colores fríos serán los protagonistas de hoy. Lila, violeta y azul. >The day is cloudy and cold, so this group of seagulls has gathered on the shore of this secluded beach to eat, preen, and rest. Cool colors will be the focus today: lilac, violet, and blue.    Estas son gaviotas blancas de lomo negro, sus patas y sus picos son de color naranja así que vamos a darles un poquito de calidez, cuando aún son pichones son de color negro y a medida que van creciendo su plumaje se va tornando blanco. >These are black-backed white gulls, their legs and beaks are orange so let's give them a little warmth, when they are still chicks they are black and as they grow their plumage turns white.   Las gaviotas están en todos los continentes y se caracterizan por vivir en grandes colonias, por hacer largos viajes en temporada de invierno para buscar lugares mas cálidos, y también por su inteligencia. Usé diferentes tonalidades de violeta y azul para darle un toque oscuro y frío a la arena y a la orilla de esta playa. >Seagulls are found on every continent and are characterized by their large colonies, long winter journeys to seek warmer places, and intelligence. I used different shades of violet and blue to give a dark, cold touch to the sand and the shore of this beach.     Con violeta muy oscuro agregué las sombras de las gaviotas sobre la arena y también pinté las patas y los ojos. >With very dark violet I added the shadows of the seagulls on the sand and also painted the legs and eyes.   Con mi lápiz de ojos blanco dibujé la espuma que forman las pequeñas olas que golpean la orilla. >With my white eyeliner I drew the foam formed by the small waves that hit the shore.    Y así quedó mi escena costera de unas gaviotas disfrutando la tranquilidad de esta playa solitaria y nublada. >And so my coastal scene of some seagulls enjoying the tranquility of this solitary and cloudy beach ended up.
