Are You Making Money From AI

For months now, I have been bombarded with adverts that talk about AI and how people are not utilizing them properly, and at the end, they pitch wanting to teach you so you can begin to make money from AI. But are people truly making money from AI? AI has no doubt reshaped every aspect of our lives from the person at the bottom to the people at the top. From things as simple as helping to write a project cover letter, to helping to understand a geographical region, and so on. AI has been able to increase the productivity of people but while a lot of people aren't getting richer with this, they can keep their jobs and be more efficient at it. AI, brought speed and accuracy to jobs done.

Some people make money from using AI. People like freelance web developers, content creators, and other creatives. With AI, a lot of developers and freelancers have been able to scale. Aside from those who use the tools, some build the tools. These people are not digging for gold, they are selling the shovels. While there are people who make the shovels, there are those who create the machines that makes sense the shovels and this is where companies like Google and so on come into play. These companies are building the machines themselves like Gemini from Google, Claude, CHAT GPT, and so on.

While there are companies the create the AI, there are companies that create the chips and the computing power these AIs need to run on. These companies are ASML, NVIDIA, and TSMC.

So in this AI gold rush, where do you fall into? For me, I am still skeptical but I am using it for my offline business and I hope to integrate it into my farm soon.
