HBD Interest Payments for July 2025 | $100k+

Welcome August! July 2025 has been absolutely amazing for crypto market. It almost seems like things will just keep getting better and better. From time to time we have days like today when all coins dropping in price and markets are in red. This too is a good things and may help us keep emotions in check and present opportunities reevaluate original conditions in investment or trading ideas. So, not counting last few days, July has been full of optimism for the future of bitcoin and crypto. Of course the most significant event was the new bitcoin all time high price of $123, 231.

I knew $120k was coming soon, but I didn't know it was going to happen so soon. If you read my previous HBD interest payout post, you will see my opinion was that once $120k price point is broken, then the time for alt coins would arrive. Indeed, soon after bitcoin made a new all time high, we saw decent movement upwards in alt coin prices. Almost all coins went up in price, some made really good gains. I was happy to see ETH, LTC, SOL, HIVE, and other to start showing the signs of the bull market. For time being it seems the bull run has got a pause. It is not clear if the rotation is over and we will continue descending back to lower prices, or regroup and give anothe try for new all time highs in alt coins. That would be really nice. Nevertheless, July has been great for alt coins.

Many coin prices today are higher than what they were in June. That is a good sign regardless what happens in the next few months. It just shows there is room to grow, and when the time is right alts will perform as well. Maybe not as well as bitcoin, but will definitely make decent gains compared to the stock markets.

Another interesting thing to observe has been many companies starting to implement Strategy's blueprint of strategic reserves in bitcoin. There are few companies who want to use the same strategy for other coins like ETH, SOL, and event LTC. I can see a desire to do something different while copying the strategy. I am not sure if it is better strategy than simply accumulating bitcoin. Time will show which one of these experiment produces results. No shortage of ideas in the markets. Strategy continues to buy bitcoin. They have created so many tickers now just to raise funds for buying more bitcoin, I don't understand the strategy anymore. Initially, it was very simple. Not it seems to have gotten complicated. I am sure they know what they are doing.

HBD continues to be pegged to USD, and Hive continues to pay 15% APR for HBD in Savings. There is good news in HBD world as well. Total interest payments paid out in the month of July have exceeded 100k HBD again. Ever since the APR dropped from 20% to 15% the total payments amount was below 100k. This has changed now, and total payments are back above 100k now. It is not clear if it is because there is greater interest for saving HBD or simply regular savers growing their savings accounts.

Lordbutterfly started a contest on X for the best post on the topic HBD and its benefits. Last I saw the prize pool was at 200 HBD. This is great opportunity to write about HBD and sharing its benefits with the world. I believe post must be written on Hive and shared on X under specific thread. I think original prize pool was 100 HBD, then it went up to 200.

It is time to look at the numbers.

Even with 15% APR demand for HBD as a savings and investment instruments remains solid. I think the payments will continue to grow, and hopefully it will be due to wider adoption of this awesome algo stablecoin. I am not invested in HBD at this time. However, if alt season arrives, HBD will definitely be a great option to utilize when profit taken happens. It is about time Hive made new all time highs as well.
