Hello everyone. Let's welcome Round 235 of the Show Me A Photo or SMAP Contest hosted by @nelinoeva. It's been a while since I last entered here but I am quite happy and excited to be able to do so this week. The link to the contest post can be found here. Do read up and join in the fun.
The theme for this week is:
BIG BIRDS
-------------------------‐------------------------------
There is a place in Munich, Germany called the English Garden. It is the largest park in Munich, covering 375 hectares or roughly about 926 acres. It is actually bigger than Central Park in New York or Hyde Park in London. And in the northern part of the English Garden is Kleinhesseloher See, a man-made lake created in the late 18th century. It is a popular spot for boating, ice skating in winter or simply sitting along the shore or going for a walk while taking photos of the serene and peaceful surroundings.
There are also numerous feathered friends to be found as the lake provides a perfect and natural habitat for them.
These photos were taken when my daughter visited the English Garden around March this year. I remembered these photos when the theme for this week was announced. As you can see, the swans are with the company of ducks and side by side with them, the swans look so much bigger than the ducks. That is why, I am entering the photo below as there is no denying the swan in the photo can only be called a big bird.
And that's it for this post. I hope you liked it. Thanks for visiting and as always please keep safe and happy 😊
