Busy Life, hectic schedule, and occupied. These are just few words that’s on my life these days. But it doesn’t mean I am sad instead it made me feel alive.
Hey everyone, today I want to share my reflections these days. For those who do not know me, I a teacher, a church leader, a big brother in other organization, a member of music ministry. And it made my whole week very busy.
As a teacher nowadays in the Philippines, our weekends are now being used since there’s no class interruption during weekdays. So almost every Saturdays, we had school activities, such as Scouting, Sports meet, Parents Meeting, Science Camp, Match Camp and seminars.
And as a church and organization leader my Sundays are also occupied since there are household meetings and evangelization teachings.
These days since our organization Couples for Christ celebrates its anniversary, we now have nightly practices with the band at night. So, I do not have time now to do other things such as playing a sport or running and going to gym.
Every day is a busy day, I sometimes feel exhausted and sometimes becomes late going to my work, but it didn’t make me stop doing these because it is my passion – my passion to serve in the community, to the young minds, to my colleagues, and to my brothers and sisters in Christ.
It made me realize that though I am very busy and occupied I still have time to do what I love in a few minutes of my time that I could insert, which is writing and blogging, watching anime and meeting with friends.
I feel tired but also, I feel alive, though I may be busy but I feel happy. I feel the joy in singing for the Lord especially in worship, I feel happy facilitating my colleagues and helping my students on their athletic journey, so as guiding young minds on their passion.
All in all, I thank God for giving me a wonderful life and bestowing me talents to share, and a healthy body in which I could all do these things with confidence and contentment.
In the end, I’ve learned that a busy life is not a burden but a blessing. Every task, every responsibility, and every moment spent in service brings meaning and purpose to my days. I may not have all the time for rest or leisure, but I find fulfillment in knowing that my busyness is rooted in love—love for my calling, my community, and my God.
