As I travel many places and stayed different hotels, I found Aquamare Beach camp Resort Unique and Marvelous.
Hey Hives and Welcome to another adventure blog. Today I want to share you our experience and adventure here at AquaMare Located at Sandugan Larena, Siquijor, Philippines. We just stay here for only 1 day but it was fun and nice experience staying here.
We arrived at exactly 8 in the Evening in the Island and this is our very first accommodation. I chose this beachcamp because it is on the seaside and has a Swimming pool so as when the morning came, our very first day would be already an activity since it is by the beach.
What amazes me is that our room is a Dome room. It is like a very big tent but with a steel pillars or skeleton with a very thick leatherette and transparent plastic which makes the view outside clear and visible but of course you have a cover if you wanted to be private.
Since I as well as my siblings were amazed we forget our exhaustion from travel and took a lot of pictures of the place.
As the morning came, we hurriedly went to the beach to witness its beauty and the sun’s kiss. As we came into the sea the sun is already shining and there’s no shouting waves that embraces us instead a quiet and calm water.
The water is in low tide and the area is so vast that we arrived almost in the middle of the sea but the water is still level on our calves. So we just walk around and enjoy its quite warm water. The unique of this beach is under the water is not a sand but a clay. It is a very smooth clay that you could feel satisfaction on your feet as you walk.
As we walk around, we saw plenty of star fish on the sea bed and some little fish. We enjoyed walking around on the calm and vast sea where it almost like a reflection since the horizon now seems like no boundary because the sea and the sky almost combine in colors maybe because the sun is now rising.
Since our swimming by the beach didn’t push through, we splash on their swimming pool beside our Dome room. So it really feels like we own the place since at the moment we swim there is no one on the pool besides us.
We really enjoy staying in this place and made a lot of fun memories. The place offers many amenities but our time staying in the place is limited so after our lunch we the departed and went to our next travel destinations.
Our time at Aquamare may have been short, but it left a lasting calm in our hearts. Sometimes, peace doesn’t come from long travels—it comes from simple mornings by the sea, laughter shared with family, and the quiet beauty of God’s creation reflecting in the still waters.
