I’ve been traveling to many places and saw wonderful beaches, but this, is one of a kind. This beach that I wanted to share to you is Paliton Beach at San Juan, Siquijor.
It is a public beach where you only need around 20 pesos donation to enjoy the scenery and be able to swim its sea. I was in awe as I saw the long coast in pure white and fine sand splashed by the azure, blue water.
Paliton beach often called by the locals Little Boracay, for it do really looks and feels like Boracay in the Philippines.
I haven’t been in Boracay though but after coming to San Juan everything changes. It became my standard, that whenever I go to the beach in our neighboring town where I live, I don’t feel the urge to swim anymore, as I look onto the colors of the waters and sand, I do always compare every beach that I will go to Paliton Beach in Siquijor.
Coming here made me so happy and feel the essence of getting splashed by waters and crashed by the waves. I do enjoy swimming without worrying the sun that might burn my face or scorched my skin tone, for just swimming and enjoying the view makes me ecstatic.
What I also love this place is that I was able to try climbing up in the famous Walk, stand and Pose on a leaning Coconut tree in the area, where it tests your courage in terms of heights.
The perfect moments just come into my way as I visited this place multiple times and found out that afternoon to dusk is the best time to visit the place as you can take photos while sun is setting. A perfect place to view sunset. I was really a fan of sunrise and sunset with its golden beams, glowing around the round sun without hurting your eye. It became so majestic and surreal.
Paliton Beach offers a lot of things but what I really love that it gives is Healing. It satisfies my eyes and body and it became one of my core memories. It offers not just beach but it provides me a place to relax, enjoy and forget the stressful work I left at my desk. It revives my energy and replenish my will to work so I can travel once more on places such as this.
