Ashlee picks the artist Fiona Apple And her 1997 debut album “Tidal” Ok actually it was released in 1996 but it bombed and didn’t get any play until late 1997 and she won best new artist for 1997 since she hasn’t charted in1996 she was eligible! Picking the hit “Criminal” for DailyJam! & the opening track “Sleep To Dream” as BonusJam!
Gene goes with the same year and picks the band Everclear and there 1997 second album “So Much For The Afterglow”. Picking the first single & my personal favorite song on the record “Everything To Everyone” for DailyJam! Then for BonusJam I picked the opening track also to match Ashlee, I go with title track to the album the song “So Much For The Afterglow” which wasn’t a single.
