hoy estuvo de cumpleaños uno de mis mejores amigos, y estuvimos de celebración, a pesar de que yo en lo particular me sentía bastante mal pues ando con malestar de gripe la verdad me siento feliz por haber podido asistir Y aunque fue un tiempo corto el que compartimos hoy me siento muy feliz de haber tenido esta oportunidad, de aquí incluso el año pasado por enfermarme no pude ir.

Today was one of my best friends' birthdays, and we celebrated, even though I personally felt pretty bad because I have the flu. The truth is, I'm happy I was able to attend. And even though it was only a short time we spent together today, I'm very happy to have had this opportunity, especially since I couldn't go last year because I was sick.
