Este remake de la antigua película de serie B del mismo nombre busca retomar la popularidad que tuvo el personaje en su momento, lo logra hasta cierto punto Pero su gran problema es que la historia puede tornarse algo lenta y si sigue manteniendo el estilo de película de bajo presupuesto, Pero algo mas dramática que original.

Si bien los efectos son superiores a la original, creo que la primera tiene un encanto que la hace mucho más loca y entretenida, aquí las actuaciones son geniales pero la historia llega a ser algo cursi o algunas críticas sociales en el medio de la trama, eso sí no es una mala película solo que no creo que tenga el mismo impacto en la cultura pop como fue la original.

Eso sí, creo que es lo suficientemente buena como para darle una oportunidad para una secuela, tiene bastante gore y no tiene miedo en ser explícita por momentos, si eres fan del personaje estoy seguro que te encantara.
