The holidays are finished and I return just now from 10h of car. Our first reflex with @altheana was to go see our vegetable garden.
Without watering since more of 2 weeks and with the strong heats that we have had, I had fear to find everything burned...
I have 3 plots with tomatoes on it. Many stems themselves are broken under the weight of tomatoes. But that has not been so terrible than that.
The cherry tomatoes are those that had the more thirst. However, that has also been the more productive.
I will take the time to make a garden journal in the next days. That will be more interesting than to pass in blow of wind.
Our only and unique chili makes at present more of 40 cm. I had spoken to a permaculturist who said that without a greenhouse, it was really difficult to go beyond.
The harvest for 2 weeks of strong heats and without maintenance is really not bad. I am thus rather satisfied.
All the more that many flowers and of young tomatoes arrive. Side green beans, that begins all softly to arrive. Certain poles make more of 2 m.
My two plants of butternuts are completely crazy and make more of 6 m of wide. But I will show that in a hive garden.
In waiting, it is the resumption difficult of the work this morning. A return to the reality that stings a little.

Les vacances sont terminées et je rentre tout juste de 10h de voiture. Notre premier réflexe avec @altheana a été d’aller voir notre potager.
Sans arrosage depuis plus de 2 semaines et avec les fortes chaleurs que nous avons eues, j’avais peur de retrouver tout brûlé...
J’ai 3 parcelles avec des tomates dessus. Beaucoup de tiges se sont cassées sous le poids de tomates. Mais ça n’a pas été si terrible que ça.
Les tomates cerises sont celles qui avaient le plus soif. Pourtant, ça a aussi été les plus productive.
Je prendrais le temps de faire un garden journal dans les prochains jours. Ça sera plus intéressant que de passer en coup de vent.

La récolte pour 2 semaines de fortes chaleurs et sans entretien n’est vraiment pas mauvaise. Je suis donc plutôt satisfait.
D’autant plus que beaucoup de fleurs et de jeunes tomates arrivent. Côté haricots verts, ça commence tout doucement à arriver. Certaines rames font plus de 2 m.
Mes deux plants de butternuts sont complètement fous et font plus de 6 m de large. Mais je montrerais ça dans un hive garden.
En attendant, c’est la reprise difficile du travail ce matin. Un retour à la réalité qui pique un peu.
