***Happy blessed afternoon To all the community as fun as this one where we can not only meet friends and see their recipes and their moments of pleasure but we can also connect with that feeling of cooking and what we like to eat Today I want to show you an event which I attended and for me it was totally gratifying I felt it as a refreshment for my life since apart from having fun and having a great time I was able to create something that for me has been the first time so here I leave you the images and I will tell you***.

There is a business in the area called Carol Ketery which is responsible for making all kinds of appetizers for any type of event and they also give us the opportunity to train in their cheese board workshops. For me it was a sensational opportunity since at that time I was going through a small personal difficulty so that is why, as I told you at the beginning, I saw it as a refreshment for my life.


And I love the presentation and everything I was able to appreciate in this workshop here initially they are going to teach you the following ways in which you can make the cheese boards how you can combine the different flavors and textures so that they are provocative on the palate and beyond the flavor also the visual part plays a very important role since through the combination of colors and textures you can persuade or feel the flavor in your mouth.

Here we use various types of cheese such as gouda cheese, yellow cheese, various types of prosciutto, and cured meats. They also add a very personal touch with the honey. They say that honey helps to highlight the flavors in the mouth, and it is important to emphasize how delicate it is when adding it, since it is separated from all the cured meats because it is in a transparent bottle, but moreover, it blends in with the entire environment.


Here in the workshop we offer you a wide variety of delicatessens, they also give you the tools and implements necessary to cut each one of them, this is also important since the cuts are not the same for all types of cheese, there are some that have straight cuts and there are others that come out in a more rustic way and these are the cheeses that are usually parmesan or paisa that are harder, we can cut these in a grotesque way to make it look natural and at the same time fun and thus the textures also vary throughout the creation of this board, remember that we must let our imagination fly and create unique creations, here in the workshop several people, although it is true we work with the same materials but each one decorated it in their own style.


It is also important to highlight that we were able to taste several types of snacks, such as some desserts and glasses of wine, because wine also goes well with cheeses, and this was a very exciting part, since while you were working, they would give you glasses of wine, and so you worked happily. Additionally, they also gave us coffee and everything necessary to make this workshop something wonderful and sensational.

I loved that they gave you the board. Here at home I have my very nice, super cute little board so I can take some kind of snap for my family and it's truly something that we loved, at least my husband and I, since he was the one who gave me this surprise workshop and for me it was lovely to be able to participate in such an original idea.
