03 Guiuan is the name of my hometown, it is located in the south easternmost tip of Samar Island. It is said to be the 2nd class municipality in the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines, according to the census of 2020.
I will be featuring one of the well-known food restaurants here in Guiuan. The Sea Quest also known as Tanghay Lodge and Restaurant. Locals love this restaurant because of its scenic view. And sometimes you can witness the sunset in this place.
Today, we dine in Sea Quest, a wide serene body of water catches my attention. The beauty of the color of sky gives me butterflies . The beauty in front of me gives me peace of mind and calmness.
After I took photos of the view, here's my little brother Niño can't wait to have some halo-halo with ice cream on top, it's my Mom's favorite to order everytime we visit this place. We ordered it first, and after the main course.
I ordered fresh vegetable salad too and brewed coffee. 😊 I missed Ate Gil's @purepinay vegetable salad and having coffee every morning. Since there is no lettuce here in Guiuan, I think I will come here every time I want to eat vegetable salad, though it's not the same as what we ate in my sister's place , I have no choice 😁..
Here's what we ordered: Bam-i ( Mixed with seafood) , Mixed Vegetables, Calamares, Crunchy Breaded Chicken, Fresh Vegetable Salad, 4 Halo-Halo and Brewed Coffee, but since they don't serve top water for some reason, we ordered mineral water.
Aside from the good ambiance of this place ,their food is also good. It will cost 1500 pesos for 5-6 courses with shakes or any drinks and serve 6-7 persons, not bad right? Coz in the city just only a cup of coffee will cost you 150-200 pesos already 😂.. but though they're expensive the quality is still different.
After we had dinner, I took a chance to take photos but my phone was drained. So I just had a few shots of the place.
Eating out is not unusual for us to do, I felt so happy seeing them happy with simple things I do for them. My Mom is working the whole day, so it's not bad if I will treat her once in a week ,like eating out and pampering ourselves..
That's why every time I was here at home, I would always do the household chores . Because for me, self rewarding, is seeing my mom relaxing after her busy day at work and eating the food I made for them,it means so alot to me. It is my simple happiness.♥️🥺
