Tenía tiempo con ganas de venir a sentarme y escribir, aunque fuera unos cinco minutos. Recién salgo de una dolencia en la espalda que no me dejaba estar sentado, y además arrastraba un dolor en las articulaciones que no sé si es por lo viejo o consecuencia de lo fuerte que fue ese dolor, reduciendo mi movilidad. Ahora puedo estar sentado, pero no por mucho tiempo, para no tentar al demonio del dolor. Sigo en tratamiento, tomando pastillas para la inflamación, para el dolor, y además las otras por una enfermedad crónica que ha sido como un ancla. No me quejo, pero a veces quisiera soltar riendas y darme una noche de tragos o comer frituras y comida rápida, que tanto me gustan. Lo bueno es que, al ser crónica, la enfermedad se comporta como un guardia de frontera de la extinta Unión Soviética: no deja pasar nada. Pero no metamos la política aquí. Ya en la vida presencial hablo mucho de eso y termino en polémicas con quienes piensan distinto, y a mi entender, equivocadamente, aunque al final los dejo sumergidos en sus propias ignorancias y creyendo en utopías. Pareciera que no hubiesen vivido tanta miseria en estos años. Por otro lado, me he propuesto sacarle más partido a la inteligencia artificial, especialmente para mis tareas diarias. Cada vez que investigo o aprendo algo, me sorprendo. Recientemente me inscribí en un taller con gente de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, y realmente lo estoy disfrutando. También me inscribí en otro de la Universidad Metropolitana, aquí en Caracas, que, si mal no recuerdo, comienza en octubre. Ya le avisé a mi amiga Arelys para que me lo recuerde, porque a veces me pongo en modo despistado y las no salen tan bien. Y eso que uso Google Calendar y Trello. ¡Ojo! No es Alzheimer. Otra cosa que estoy disfrutando y con la que ya me he ganado un dinero es CapCut. Como las licencias de los productos de Adobe se han puesto muy caras y sus equivalentes muchas veces no sirven para nada, este paladín de la edición de videos se ha renovado y se muestra totalmente amigable, además de que su licencia no golpea al bolsillo. Se logran cosas maravillosas. Como mis videos y ediciones no son de larga duración, CapCut resulta excelente y, además, incluye opciones de inteligencia artificial. También en la edición de imágenes se porta muy bien y me ha llevado a considerar dejar de pagar la licencia de Canva. Cuando me toque un video largo, para lo cual Premiere (Adobe) es lo mejor, veré cómo resolverlo. Pero definitivamente, la edición de videos es un universo que me apasiona.

I had time looking forward to sitting down and writing, even if it was for just about five minutes. I have just come out of a back ailment that would not let me sit down, and I also had joint pain that I don't know if it's because of how old I am or a consequence of how strong that pain was, reducing my mobility. Now I can sit, but not for long, so as not to tempt the demon of pain. I'm still in treatment, taking pills for inflammation, for pain, and also others for a chronic illness that has been like an anchor. I'm not complaining, but sometimes I would like to let go and have a night of drinks or eat fried foods and fast food, which I like so much. The good thing is that, being chronic, the disease behaves like a border guard of the former Soviet Union: it does not let anything pass. But let's not get the politics in here. Already in face-to-face life, I talk about it a lot and end up in polemics with those who think differently, and in my opinion, wrongly, although in the end, I leave them submerged in their own ignorance and believing in utopias. It would seem that they had not lived so much misery in these years. On the other hand, I have set out to get more out of artificial intelligence, especially for my daily tasks. Every time I research or learn something, I am surprised. I recently signed up for a workshop with people from the Central University of Venezuela, and I'm really enjoying it. I also enrolled in another one from the Metropolitan University, here in Caracas, which, if I remember correctly, starts in October. I already notified my friend Arelys to remind me, because sometimes I get in clueless mode and things don't turn out so well. I use Google Calendar and Trello, and sometimes I let things go by. Watch out! It's not Alzheimer's. Another thing that I am enjoying and with which I have already earned some money is CapCut.
