Tenía tiempo sin escribir debido a mi condición de salud. He estado algo sensible a las pantallas, Me causan mareo. Esto será otra parte de mi vlog personal. Respecto al cáncer de pulmón y mi situación actual de salud. En otras publicaciones iré documentando toda mi historia por partes.
Comenzaré la historia con los resultados de un examen llamado "Perfil Genético", que se me entregó el día 03-01-2025 (la muestra se entregó el 20-12-2024, pero esa es otra historia). Se usó para determinar qué tipo de mutación tengo. El informe indica (según los doctores, porque no entendí en absoluto lo que indica el informe) una mutación llamada EFGR.
Según información que vi, la mutación EFGR se presenta en casos avanzados (podemos leer más detalles aquí), hay un mejor tratamiento probado hasta la fecha para lo que tengo, llamado "Esortinib". Pero no hay disponibilidad en Venezuela. Por esta razón quedé con una segunda opción llamada "Erlotinib" que se debe tomar una diaria; y unas ampollas llamadas "Bevacizumab” (480 mg) que se aplicará de forma endovenosa, por cada 21 días.
El día 15-01-2025 comencé con las ampollas "Bevacizumab" en simultáneo con las pastillas “Erlotinib”. Mis pobres venas ya piden auxilio, todos los tratamientos recibidos las han debilitado. Lo cierto es que todo paciente oncológico pasa por eso, pero mejor un pinchazo que duele, que morir.
Antes de comenzar el tratamiento sentía dolores fuertes en las caderas y espalda. Llegué a tener diarrea el 17-05-2025, pero sentí alivió, y a su vez disminución dolor (me hacía falta para poder dormir, caminar, subir escaleras).
En total llevo 4 ciclos de aplicación del tratamiento, por supuesto junto con las pastillas. He tenido los siguientes efectos secundarios.
- Acné en la cara y después la espalda. (Yo digo que me estoy haciendo más joven 😁).
- Resequedad en todo el cuerpo.
- Pequeño sangrado por la nariz.
- Náuseas, mareos y vómitos (lo bueno es que esto ha ido disminuyendo).
Los resultados que he obtenido durante todo lo que llevo con este nuevo tratamiento (inmunoterapia), han sido positivos (por lo que sigo muy agradecido con DIOS), pudiera mencionar los siguientes beneficios:
- Disminución del dolor fuerte que tenía en la espalda y caderas.
- Más fuerzas para caminar y subir escaleras.
- Según la tomografía realizada el 04-04-2025 y siendo comparada con la realizada el 26-11-2024. Mi doctora oncóloga me ha dado la buena noticia, que los nódulos que estaban surgiendo han desaparecido.
¿A qué conclusión se ha llegado y qué sigue ahora?
Según las indicaciones médicas por los momentos debo seguir con el tratamiento de forma indefinida, en parte me preocupa por el costo tan elevado de la inmunoterapia. Pero a la vez agradecido porque existe un tratamiento.

I hadn't written in a while due to my health condition. I've been somewhat sensitive to screens; they make me dizzy. This will be another part of my personal vlog, regarding lung cancer and my current health situation. In other posts, I will be documenting my whole story in parts. ----- I will start the story with the results of a test called "Genetic Profile," which was given to me on 01-30-2025 (the sample was delivered on 12-20-2024, but that's another story). It was used to determine what type of mutation I have. The report indicates (according to the doctors, because I didn't understand at all what the report says) a mutation called EFGR. The truth is that every cancer patient goes through this, but a painful shot is better than dying.  Before starting treatment, I felt severe pain in my hips and back. I even had diarrhea on 05-17-2025, but I felt relief, and in turn, a decrease in pain (which I needed to be able to sleep, walk, and climb stairs). In total, I have had 4 cycles of treatment application, of course, along with the pills. I have had the following side effects: > 1. Acne on my face and then my back. (I say I'm getting younger 😁). > 2. Dryness all over my body. > 3. Small nosebleeds. > 4. Nausea, dizziness, and vomiting (the good thing is that this has been decreasing). The results I have obtained throughout my time with this new treatment (immunotherapy) have been positive (for which I remain very grateful to GOD). I could mention the following benefits: > 1. Decrease in the severe pain I had. > 2. More strength to walk and climb stairs. > 3. According to the CT scan performed on 04-04-2025 and compared to the one performed on 11-26-2024, my oncologist has given me the good news that the nodules that were emerging have disappeared. ----- **What conclusion has been reached and what comes next?** According to medical indications, for the time being, I must continue with the treatment indefinitely. I am partly worried about the high cost of immunotherapy, but at the same time grateful that a treatment exists.
