Wazzup hivers and foodfighters , for this foodfightfriday I want to share 1 of my recipes, it’s really good and worth a try even if you not on a plant based diet, I could eat the whole damn tray.
Ingredients for cake
30 g or 1/3 cup coco powder 2 teaspoons bicarbonate of baking soda 360 g or 2 cups semolina 1/4 teaspoon salt 230 ml or 1 cup soy yogurt 230 ml or 1 cup soy milk 1/2 teaspoon apples cider vinegar 100g hemp oil 195 g or 3/4 cup agave syrup 1 teaspoon coffee or coffee alternative
Ingredients for super sticky sauce
100g or coconut oil 170 ml or 3/4 cup plant based milk 100g vegan dark chocolate 1/4 teaspoon bourbon vanilla 4 table spoons agave syrup 1 teaspoon coffee or coffee alternative
OK first sift the bicarbonate and coco powder together.
Then add semolina and salt and mix all together.
Then grab yourself a second bowl and add soy yogurt.
Then plant based milk.
Vinegar
Oil
Syrup
Then add the coffee and mix them all together.
Then what you do is mix the two bowls together and mix with a non metallic spoon.
Then prepare the oven and oven tray, preheat oven to gas mark 4 which is 180 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit. Light oil the tray, I use spray oil.
Then coat it with semolina.
Then put the mixure in and bake for half an hour.
Next to make the super sticky sauce, first heat the milk without boiling.
Then add the chocolate and let it melt a bit.
Add the coconut oil, you might have to melt it in the microwave first to make it runny, and mix altogether.
Then add vanilla and agave, coffee, and syrup, mix well.
Throw the super sticky sauce over the cake and let it cool down cut and serve.
