I'm aware of how late I am to watching this movies, I absolutely love all of Disney movies especially Descendants so I don't know why I'm just watching it. Actually I decided to finally hop on the train because of Zombies 4 that came out recently. The trailer looked good but I know I can't watch 4 without watching 1, 2 and 3.

I felt a lot of deja vu while watching it because it reminded of descendants and Disney movie, the theme being about discrimination of zombies like discrimination of Zombies like descendants was discrimination of villains in Disney stories, I guess it's a Disney thing.

ZOMBIES (2018) is a Disney Channel Original Movie that mixes high school drama, music, and dance with a fun little twist. It’s set in Seabrook, a super bright town where cheerleading and traditions basically run everything. The story kicks off when zombie students, who’ve been kept separate for years, finally get the chance to go to the human high school. From there, it’s all about funny moments, big dance numbers, and songs you can’t get out of your head, while also digging into themes like acceptance, finding who you are, and breaking stereotypes. With its colorful vibe and the whole cheerleaders-versus-zombies setup, it gives High School Musical energy just with zombies trying to fit in.
And the songs, I love every single song and listened to them at least twice before I move to the next scene but my favorites which I immediately added to my playlist were FIRED UP and BBAM. Most people liked Someday which is expected, it's a great song just not my style. Now...

Okay so ZOMBIES 2 (2020) honestly felt like the perfect follow-up to the first movie. Seabrook is still the same cheer-obsessed town, but this time things get even crazier because a new group shows up, werewolves. The second they arrive, you can just tell the drama is about to double, and it really does. Just like the first movie, it’s packed with fun songs, big dance numbers, and those colorful, over-the-top Disney vibes, but it also goes deeper into the whole idea of finding where you belong and not being afraid to stand out. With zombies, cheerleaders, and now werewolves all in the mix, it feels way bigger than the first one, almost like Disney said, “Okay, let’s make this even more epic.”
My favorites in 2 were my favorite overall.
My favorite character being the werewolf, Wyatt and my favorite songs being "like the zombie do" and "Call to the wild". I especially love the dance in "like the zombies do". Moving on...

By now, zombies, werewolves, and humans have figured out how to live together, but just when you think things are finally calm… boom, aliens show up. Yep, aliens. Their arrival totally flips the story again, bringing new songs, new characters, and a whole new layer of drama. Just like the first two movies, it’s colorful, funny, and packed with catchy music, but this one leans even more into that “epic Disney ending” kind of vibe. It really focuses on big themes like unity, love, and following your dreams, while also wrapping up the characters’ journeys in a way that feels both fun and emotional. With cheerleaders, zombies, werewolves, and now aliens all in the mix, it’s like Disney went, “Okay, let’s throw everything in and make this finale unforgettable.” The songs in this movie didn't really stick to me but I loved the new version of "someday" sang in it, if I'm being honest I cried during the scene it was sang.
Now though the reason I binge watched all three at once was because of the fourth movie, Zombies 3 just felt like the perfect ending and now I'm wondering if I want to watch 4 because it might ruin zombies for me. I might later watch it but for now, I'm gonna re watch all three a couple times before I might come watch the fourth.
I'm enjoying rewatching all because i feel like a child again while watching them.
