I think you are already ahead of the curve in many respects. Most people I know are still so clueless to the potential of AI, and too busy with their current job to really dig into it too deeply. I think the greatest benefit at the moment will be companies streamlining operations and cutting down time spent on administrative tasks. Once many people lose their jobs from this at the big companies, I think there will be a new wave of uses discovered from the average person to either learn new skills or go to work for themselves in one way or another.
