Hola somos el Club de Gimnasia Leonas y Leones de Plaza, nuestra sede está en la maravillosa ciudad de Guarenas, la cual está ubicada en el estado Miranda de nuestra amada Venezuela, desde nuestra fundación el 23 de abril de 2018 hemos trabajado con niñas y adolescentes. El club surgió de un taller de gimnasia que teníamos en el año 2015.

Hello we are the Leonas y Leones de Plaza Gymnastics Club, our headquarters is in the wonderful city of Guarenas, which is located in the Miranda state of our beloved Venezuela, since our founding on April 23, 2018 we have worked with girls and adolescents. The club emerged from a gymnastics workshop we had in 2015.

Nos dedicamos a una de las disciplinas deportivas más integrales del mundo. ¿Y por qué digo eso? Lo digo porque en la gimnasia rítmica además de trabajar con tu cuerpo. Nuestras gimnastas también tienes que saber el manejo de cinco aparatos (pelota, cuerda, aro, mazas y cinta), Nuestras atletas deben saber bailar diferentes ritmos, tener expresión facial y corporal como también trabajar en equipos. Aparte de este estilo de gimnasia también trabajamos la Gimnasia Artística (solo en tapete). Gimnasia Aeróbico Deportiva, Gimnasia Parkour, Gimnasia Acrobática.
We are dedicated to one of the most integral sports disciplines in the world. And why do I say that? I say that because in rhythmic gymnastics, besides working with your body, our gymnasts also have to know how to handle five apparatuses (ball, rope, hoop, clubs and ribbon). Antes de iniciar en este ecosistema Hive. Nos reunimos con los representantes y se les explicó como funciona. Se sintieron motivados y sorprendidos, ya que no lo conocían. Nos autorizaron a poder tomar las fotos de las niñas y niños para mostrar el trabajo. Están motivados a también ir comenzándose dentro de este mundo, Próximamente, estarán recibiendo sus clases de Hive y participando.
Before starting in this Hive ecosystem. We met with the representatives and explained how it works. They were motivated and surprised, since they did not know it. Somos un Club Federado, lo cual nos permite participar en los Campeonatos Nacionales de la Gimnasia Rítmica, y eso nos ha permitido viajar y conocer varios estados de nuestro país. Cómo los son Guárico, La Guaira, Anzoátegui, Bolívar y nuestra hermosa Caracas.
We are a Federated Club, which allows us to participate in the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, and that has allowed us to travel and meet several states of our country. Such as Guárico, La Guaira, Anzoátegui, Bolívar and our beautiful Caracas.
La Gimnasia Rítmica siempre fue y es un deporte de élite. Por lo que sus costos son bastante elevados, desde los maillots hasta cada uno de sus aparatos, costos de competencia. Sin embargo, nuestro enfoque está en masificar este deporte y de esta manera, niños y niñas que tengan el talento tengan la oportunidad de participar y de formarse dentro del mismo. No ha sido una tarea fácil. Pero tampoco es imposible. Mediante la disciplina, constancia y la fe en nuestro proyecto. Cada vez son más los niños que participan. Y esperamos seguir aumentando ese número.
Rhythmic Gymnastics has always been and is an elite sport. Therefore, its costs are quite high, from the jerseys to each of its apparatuses and competition costs. However, our focus is to massify this sport and in this way, children who have the talent have the opportunity to participate and be formed within it. It has not been an easy task. But it is not impossible either. Through discipline, perseverance and faith in our project. More and more children are participating. And we hope to continue increasing that number.
Nuestro estilo de entrenamiento es diferente a los de otros clubs. Ya que trabajamos bajo la filosofía de que el cuerpo es nuestro templo y debemos cuidarlo, respetarlo y no forzarlo. Por lo cual para que nuestros atletas puedan adquirir la flexibilidad necesaria hacemos uso de el yoga, animal flow para crear mayor tensión y agilidad, calistenia para la tensión, resistencia y precisión. En la parte de la danza partimos principalmente del ballet, seguido del jazz, contemporáneo, salsa, merengue, flamenco, danzas africanas, ritmos urbanos. Para la parte escénica se les da clases de expresión facial y corporal. Usando dramatizaciones. Ya sean individuales, dúos, tríos, conjuntos o grupales
Our training style is different from other clubs. We work under the philosophy that the body is our temple and we must take care of it, respect it and not force it. Therefore, in order for our athletes to acquire the necessary flexibility we make use of yoga, animal flow to create greater tension and agility, calisthenics for tension, resistance and precision. In the dance part we start mainly with ballet, followed by jazz, contemporary, salsa, merengue, flamenco, African dances, urban rhythms. Al comienzo participan principalmente en gimnastadas las cuales son coreografías grupales que duran de 5 m en adelante. Esto les permite ir adquiriendo seguridad Cuando ya tienen las condiciones necesarias para asistir a competencia pasan por un proceso de copas de escuela. Luego de ello a partir de los 6 años pueden federarse bien sea en base, niveles o categoría como atletas y competir en las nacionales. Una medalla para cada uno de nuestros niños y niñas es más que solo un lugar. Es un logro, un sí pude ser algo más, si puedo lograrlo, En mí existe mucho más
At the beginning they participate mainly in gymnastics which are group choreographies that last from 5 m and up. This allows them to acquire security. When they have the necessary conditions to attend competitions, they go through a process of school cups. After that, from the age of 6 they can federate either in base, levels or category as athletes and compete in the nationals. A medal for each of our boys and girls is more than just a place. It is an achievement, a yes I could be something more, if I can achieve it, in me there is much more.
Dar la oportunidad de crecer, de formarse, de poder cumplir sus sueños es algo maravilloso. Casi siempre es complicado alcanzar cada meta, pero lograrás te llena de un gozo inigualable. .
