I clicked this picture during one of my weekend getaways to Amsterdam. We spontaneously jumped on a bus from London for a weekend of sightseeing in the Dutch capital. Of course, when you think of Amsterdam, the first thing that comes to mind is the gorgeous architecture and the stunning canals lined with houseboats. I love all of that! Another thing I get really excited about exploring when on a city break are the local markets. Amsterdam has amazing street markets and food is a big draw. Waffles are a popular sweet treat here and you'll get them with all the imaginable toppings - chocolate, fresh fruit, nuts, whipped cream, candy syrup...the list is endless. These were some of the best waffles of my life!
