No matter whom you are and the position you occupy here on earth, if you are not doing the will of God, you can never enter into the kingdom of God.
Before we came into existence, God has already destined us on what we will be, it's our duty to work in the part which God has set for us rather than going astray. According to the scripture, Jeremiah one of the greatest prophets of Israel was ordained by God to be prophet unto nation even before he was formed in his mother's womb.
As christians, we should always do God's will, follow the part which he has set for us. We should always be seen as people who live a righteous life for us to be able to share in God's glory on the last day.
This teaching is a reminder that even if God has chosen us, if we will live a life of imprudence, if we are not careful, if we can't keep obeying God, something bad will happen to us. We can be castaway.
