The bible is not just an ordinary book that we can just pick up, read and understand it. It is a holy book that contains the teachings and commandments of God written through the inspiration of the holy spirit. It requires spiritual guidance and humility to understand the bible, since it is written by inspiration of the holy spirit, it also requires the help of the holy spirit for us to understand God's word.
