In this part of his teaching, Bro Eli Soriano made us to understand that any religion where the holy spirit does not operate, nor dwell cannot renew its member because it is the holy spirit that can direct our steps towards doing the will of God. Our hearts cannot direct our steps, infact human heart is evil, in order to do God's will we need the help of the holy spirit in our lives.
Not all religion is guided by the holy spirit, there are false religions who proclaim God's name but are full of evil deeds, teaming with evil, such religion is not guided by the power of God. As believers, we need to be in the rightful place which is the true religion of Jesus Christ according to the bible, where the holy spirit dominates the acts, thinking and word of the members of that religion.
1 Corinthians 3:16 says:
Know ye that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you?
This bible verse is a reminder that our body is the dwelling place of God, therefore we must do the will of God always, and follow his teachings for the holy spirit to dwell in us and direct our steps always.
