Greetings brethren, it another beautiful day to listen to God's teaching by Bro Eli Soriano. God bless his word. https://youtu.be/b2cI465xX4w?si=aYiRRKkaZ3AoADDo In this part of his teaching, Bro Eli made us to understand from the book of Jeremiah 10:23: it's the Lord that directs our steps, we cannot by our own selves be righteous and good. Humanity is nothing without God, we cannot achieve anything without his hands in our lives.
Biblically, God control us and will domain over us if we submit ourselves to him, in following his teachings and believing in the truth. II Thesaloniains 2:11-12 says:
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
This bible verse is a reminder to us, that after listening to the teachings, preachings and the admonitions that was been taught to us, if we are going to go against God's will and believe in lies, then God will turn his back against us, he will leave us to be lost in the path of darkness. If we prefer what is evil more than what is good, God will give us the delusion we want. If we disregard God's control then we are out of control and will be in charge of our own destiny.
In contrary, if we are not going to submit ourselves to God, then we will be the architect of our destiny, and for sure that destiny will be going to perdition.
So as christians, let us allow God to be in control over us. Let's be submissive to him so that he will guide and protect us and will take control over our destiny and our being.
