Studying the word of God requires dedication and perseverance. As christians, studying the word of God should be part of us, we have to remain in his word.
This bible verse teaches us that only those who study the word of God always and follow his teachings are the disciples of Jesus Christ. For us to be among the disciples of Christ, we have to be seen as people who study the word of God without ceasing, who follow his teachings and obey his commandments.
The book of Matthew 28:19-20: teaches us that after being baptized as christians, we are not yet through in the teachings of God, we have to be taught to observe the teachings of God and also to observe the teachings we have learned. So as a beginner, listening to MCGI indoctrination sessions before receiving baptism will help shape our life on studying the word of God and observing his teachings.
We live in a world full of evil, temptations, turmoil and confusion, we must continue to study the word of God so that we will be guided by the teachings of Christ.
