Celebrar la vida siempre es un momento relevante, sin importar las circunstancias que estemos atravesando. Es importante que seamos agradecidos por el regalo de Dios de darnos vida. Siempre pienso en la frase «mientras hay vida, hay esperanza», y la esperanza es lo primero que perdemos cuando todo parece estar en nuestra contra. No somos capaces de ver que todas las etapas son pasajeras, no recordamos todo lo que hemos superado en el pasado y, mucho menos, somos capaces de visualizar lo que puede depararnos el futuro desde una perspectiva positiva.
Obviamente, hay situaciones tan difíciles que una simple palabra de ánimo no nos ayudará a superarlas, pero de lo que estoy segura es de que Dios puede sostenernos, fortalecernos y darnos la victoria, porque en Él hay poder. Por eso, le damos gracias por poder celebrar con nuestros seres queridos, a pesar de que el mundo nos sorprende cada día con noticias devastadoras, la economía está en declive, la sociedad está en decadencia y no parece haber una salida. Elijo creer que Cristo es mi salida. «Pero los que confían en el Señor renovarán sus fuerzas; levantarán el vuelo como las águilas, correrán y no se fatigarán, caminarán y no se cansarán».
Isaías 40:31.

Celebrating life is always important, regardless of the circumstances we are going through. It is important to be grateful for God's gift of life. I always think of the phrase “while there is life, there is hope,” and hope is the first thing we lose when everything seems to be against us. We are unable to see that all stages are temporary, we do not remember everything we have overcome in the past, and we are even less able to visualize what the future may hold for us from a positive perspective.
Obviously, there are situations so difficult that a simple word of encouragement will not help us overcome them, but what I am sure of is that God can sustain us, strengthen us, and give us victory, because in Him there is power. Therefore, we thank Him for being able to celebrate with our loved ones, even though the world surprises us every day with devastating news, the economy is in decline, society is in decay, and there seems to be no way out. I choose to believe that Christ is my way out. “But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.”
