Since late June, I’ve been writing articles about Hive.blog on note, a Japanese platform where creators share blog posts, essays, and stories on diverse topics, ranging from personal experiences to professional insights, often fostering deep community engagement.

My goal is to promote Hive, and in the process, I’ve started reading other users’ note articles more frequently. Having gotten so used to Hive’s upvote system, the ability to hit “Like” on note without spending anything feels a bit strange to me 😅
Initially, I was curious about how many people were writing about cryptocurrencies on note. While searching, I kept stumbling across articles about “fell for crypto scams.” Stories of people being tricked into depositing money into fake websites through DMs with someone they met on social media or unknowingly being added to shady LINE group chats and deceived stood out.
As I kept reading these posts, my recommendations became flooded with more “I got scammed by an investment scheme” articles, pulling me into a weird loop of earnestly reading them and feeling heartbroken😢
The number of people falling for investment scams is shockingly high, and the financial damage is massive. While reading these scam-related posts and writing about Hive, I can’t help but feel a dilemma. No matter how sincerely I write, I worry that Hive might come across as suspicious to some readers.
To avoid giving off a “money! money!” vibe, I’ve been carefully focusing on Hive’s security, user-friendly blog interface, and features like Snaps. Yet, I still wonder if it might seem sketchy to others. Sometimes, I even think it might be better to completely avoid mentioning “earning through cryptocurrency” and instead highlight Hive’s transparency and the ability to connect with users worldwide. Honestly, I’m feeling a bit stuck.
What were your thoughts when you first signed up for this platform? What motivated you to register and post your first article? I’d love to hear your stories for some inspiration!

6月の末から、Hive.blogの宣伝のため、noteでHiveに関する記事を書き始めました（ご協力いただいている皆様、ありがとうございます。引き続き記事を募集しています）。

その過程で、他のユーザーのnote記事もよく読むようになりました。Hiveに慣れすぎたせいか、何も消費することなく「スキ！」を押せるしくみがまだ少し不思議だったりします😅
当初、暗号資産について書いている人がどのくらいいるのかなと探していたところ、「暗号通貨詐欺に遭ってしまった」という記事が頻繁にヒットしました。SNSで知り合った相手とのDMの末、偽サイトに入金させられたり、知らない間にLINEのグループチャットに入れられていて、そこで騙されたり… といった話が目立ちます。そんな記事ばかり読んでいたら、おすすめにさらに「投資詐欺に遭いました」という記事が表示されるようになり、ついつい真剣に読んでは心を傷めるという謎のループに陥っています。
投資詐欺に遭っている人の数は驚くほど多く、被害額も膨大です。次々と上がってくる詐欺関連の記事を横目にHiveについて書いていると、どうしても感じてしまうジレンマがあります。どんなに真面目に書いても、Hiveが怪しく見えてしまうかもしれない… ということです😢
「お金！お金！」みたいな雰囲気になると怪しいかなと思って、セキュリティやブログのインターフェース、Snapsなどの機能からできるだけ丁寧に紹介するようにしてみました。それでもなお、怪しい印象を与えてしまうのではないかと…
いっそのこと、「暗号通貨で稼げる」という部分にはあえて触れず、Hiveの透明性の高さや世界中のユーザーと交流できる魅力を強調したほうがいいのでは？！なんて考えてしまうほど、煮詰まり気味です😅
