A Day in My Life Blog: Our Yearly Mission, Pastoral Care/Evangelism and Christian Education Department Convention held at Kapatagan Assembly of God Church! 😇😊🤗

**Have a Blessed Day to all ASEAN Hivers and all my Fellow Hivers all over the World!** 😇 We are now in the month of October, and as we starts the month we have started it with one of the most important event for the year, this is the ***"Mission, Pastoral Care and Christian Education Department Convention"***. This is a yearly event in which we will be listening to some of the latest updates and lessons from our guest speakers from the different departments who were involved in this convention. I thank God for this opportunity to learn and before I get started sharing, I will first want to thank everyone most especially my beloved supporters here in the community. First of all to our God who helped and guide me until now, to the community Admins, my fellow Hivers and Curators, thank you so much.  Our District who were assigned to all the events and activities from our organization already planned about this important event in which everyone are encourage to join most especially to those who have a love for mission. That is why, when I heard about this event, I am very happy and excited knowing that this will definitely helped me grow and will learn a lot from the lectures and from the Word of God.  The venue of our convention was to be held at Kapatagan Assembly of God Church in which the location was a bit far as it took us more or less three hours before we arrive. That is why, together with some of our brethren in the Lord and together with our Senior Pastor who is our driver on his Van, and thank God for we have a vehicle to be used. We started traveling around 5:00 in the morning so we will arrived at the venue as early as we can. We just arrived then around 8:30 in the morning and we have noticed this tarpaulin in the outside.    We were the very early delegates from other places aside from those who were in Kapatagan. As we arrived we first take our breakfast as it is already very late for us to have our breakfast. After then, we went back to the Church and many other delegates have finally arrived and the program proper has finally started. We thank God for everyone had arrived safely. It started with an opening prayer from one of our District Officers then it was followed Praise and Worship in which the Host Church's Praise and Worship Team was assigned. They have truly prepared a lot for this and glory to God for everything went well and everyone of us have felt the presence of God, as we worship God in Spirit and in Truth.    After the Praises and Worship it immediately followed by the sharing of God's Word and some Lecturers from our guest speaker and assigned lecturers from different departments. First to share is our District Superintendent and his tasks is to welcome everyone and share some words of encouragement from the Word of God as we were now belongs to those in Mission for the Lord. He ended up around 12:00 in which we have then our lunch time and the remaining lectures will be going to share their topics in the afternoon, and one who will be lecturing us is my Senior Pastor. Exactly 1:00 in the afternoon we've continued our convention program and this will be the lecture time. We have two more lecturers to share and they were assigned to share about Mission and Pastor Care, as will as the Evangelism. Thank God for all the lessons and learnings we have heard from our lecturers most especially to my Senior Pastor who shared about ***"Go and Make Discipleships"***. This lesson reminds us that we should go and share the gospel to the world and we should now be afraid because God is always with us.    It was around 5:00 when the lectures had finally concluded and we will definitely apply what we have learned. Now that we finished our convention, it is now time for us to go home. But before we closed this event, we will never forget to appreciate and give some tokens to our guest speakers and lecturers for sharing such an amazing and encouraging Word of God and lessons that they have shared. Since it is already late in the afternoon and we will be traveling more or less three hours, we immediately went back home and thank God for we just arrived in our different houses safe and sound.
