Lately, I’ve been wondering: will Splinterlands remain centered only on Hive, or will it expand further into other blockchains in the future?
After digging a bit, here’s what I found:
🔗 SPS and DEC tokens can already be bridged thanks to the TeraBlock partnership, which connects Hive with Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC), with plans to expand to Polygon.
🖼️ Splinterlands NFTs can be traded on WAX through a bridge, opening cards and packs to a whole new market.
🎨 The team even launched Runi NFTs directly on Ethereum via OpenSea, proving their willingness to explore other ecosystems.
All of this clearly shows that Splinterlands doesn’t want to stay locked into a single blockchain. Even though Hive will most likely remain the game’s beating heart (fast, feeless, and with a strong community 💪), the future seems to be multi-chain, where our cards and tokens could move more freely across different ecosystems.
