On Monday morning it was wicked foggy and humid. I wasn’t too bad and managed a shower and got laundry started before heading out for the appt with my general helper driving.
I’ve been read the riot act and MUST start doing my PT twice a day. This will take between 6 weeks and 6 months to heal. I am 2½ weeks in. We stopped at the coop for some groceries and headed home.
It had burned off by 9AM and was as hot as it looks. I got the house shut up against the heat before I left.
Back home, we checked the seedlings and she watered a few that needed it. I decided that due to the high heat and humidity we should work inside. I ate some lunch and she got started washing up some of the things that went into the big bookcase. I helped dry them and we got them put away.
In the process of hanging up things, I’d lost a hook down behind the treadmill. So she dragged out the bag and found it. While the bag of exercise stuff was out, I pulled out the PT bag. So that’s one step closer…
I have 3 copper things to polish still but most of this goes along the south wall of the office. I’m hoping to get to that on Thursday afternoon.
The Big garden’s tomatoes in the early morning fog
It’s not quite full open yet, but doing pretty well considering it’s in a raspberry bed.
Once she left mid afternoon, I just took it easy until bedtime. That was late due to the high temperatures.
On Tuesday I MUST mow the lawn and up at the barn. It’s gotten pretty high and it’s never really dried off due to the humidity. It’s going to be a terrible job.
My helper friend will be here and he will be inside where it’s cool doing cleaning.
I plan to hide in the office where it’s relatively cooler once I’ve finished.
