On Monday I was up at 4AM after an aggravating dream. I got my post up and then a load in the dishwasher. After a rest I went upstairs to start the last 4 small windows.
I got a call at 8:10AM that the mulch guy was bring the next 20 bales. So I got dressed and went out to help unload them. Then I went back in and resumed the windows.

By 9:30AM I had them done and had cleaned up most of the mess. I sat down to rest for a while then got up and got laundry started.

Someone was happy I was staying inside with him for a change. He had a wood stove and sunshine where he was.

It was another gorgeous day but I couldn’t go outside. I got the kitchen cleaned up and got ready to go to the Senior center event at 12:30PM.

The storyteller has worked at historical places like Old Sturbridge Village and the Shaker village. In doing research for these places he’s read lots of old newspapers, diaries, and other writings. And when doing so, he would find odd events that people wrote about. He had 1 ghost story, 1 witch story, and 1 vampire story. Plus he told a ghost story he had been a part of when he was 5 years old. It was very cool hearing these old events, one dating back to the 1600’s.
Our Senior center has a small table where you can bring things for others to take, or vice versa. I found the mug with the autumn theme and got it for my brother.
I had gotten there early so I went over to work on the jigsaw puzzle. One of the women working on the puzzle looks at me and says, I have a jacket for you. ??? She goes out to her car and comes back with the jacket. Someone had given it to her but it was way too big for her. It fit me perfectly.
After the event, I went to the appointment and this time it went well. I liked the new nurse practitioner. Whew! One less thing I have to deal with.

The contractor was there when I got home and he got all the boards fitted and caulked and the gaps and nail holes filled with epoxy. It’s to rain the end of the week, so he won’t be back until after that when things have dried out.
I had wondered what the jacket was made of, so I could wash it. I tried to search for it online but I only had a tag with “R” and “L” on it. The contractor said he might be able to tell what it was made of it we burnt a small piece of the fabric. So before he left we tried it and he said it smelt of burnt hair and plastic. So probably wool and acrylic or polyester, so washable.
I got supper made, the shades pulled and both stoves lit. I was a bit late getting to bed, just before 9PM.
On Tuesday my helper friend arrives at 9:30AM and I’m hoping we can finally finish the last wall in the office before my #1 intern arrives around 11AM. She and I will be attempting to clean out and mulch the next third of the Big garden.
I’m hoping she can take me for blood work afterwards. It seems I forgot to get it done after the last visit. That ought to finish me off in fine fashion.
