On Saturday I was moving pretty slowly. I didn’t even get up until 7:15AM much to someone’s disgust. Once he was fed, I got my photos done and the post up. I got a load in the dishwasher and had to sit down to rest.
I eventually got a shower and tried to get organized for when the window guy came sometime after noon.

When he arrived the first thing he did was get all this stuff downstairs. I got it put away, except for the screens. He brought storm door windows up on each trip.

We did the front door first and that went quickly. So we moved to the back door. This one had given us a hard time last time but it went quickly this time. Except we forgot to wash the window before putting all the protectors in place. Sigh… So we washed what we could reach.
We went in to do the office door and discovered that the one window that’s different than the other 2 does not fit in either the back door or the office door. That would mean taking the front door all apart again. And we didn’t have time left.
All the times we’ve installed these since 2020 and never knew this… It will have to be labeled somehow.
So we took the screen out of the office door and went down and put all the screens safely away. I was so wiped out. I just sat in my chair until suppertime. I got supper, started the fire, and pulled the shades. I have to pull them at 5:45PM now! And the time change is 2 weeks away and will make it worse.
On Sunday I have to mow up the leaves in the yard, after I get all the sticks picked up. I may be going to a classical concert in the afternoon if my friend’s arm has healed enough. And the kitchen needs cleaned up for a change. It’s to be pretty warm on Sunday and start raining in the night and all day Monday.
On Monday I hope to change out my clothes to winter stuff with help from my #1 intern. I also have to do laundry so I’ll have something to put away and the tech is supposed to come check the solar panel system in the afternoon.
