Larry on coffee table (taken by my son)
On Tuesday morning I was up around 5:30AM and got my post up. I got the kitchen cleaned up and finally made it into the gardens by 8AM.
I had hoped to finish Row 6, but once I started the weeding on the north half, I realized I’d just be able to get it weeded. I was also doing half of Row 7 as I went. Seven overfilled sleds later, I finally finished at 11AM.
Row 7 half weeded
I got my notes, photos, and cleaned up and went in for a shower.
My helper friend had arrived at 9:30AM and he’d been working inside on chores and cleaning. Then he ran some errands.
I got to rest for about 2 hours before my appointment.
The office had a homey feel to it and I noticed extensive use of dragonflies in the décor. I asked about them and apparently the founder of the functional medicine practice loves dragonflies.
The first visit went ok and I’ve schedule an annual physical for next week. So we’ll see how it goes.
I’d noticed the bright yellow flowers of sneezeweed in the Fence gardens.
Last year, it had come up in the arnica bed and had gotten enormous. I’ll have to be diligent about the ones in the Fence gardens.
Another round of Big Bang Theory and in bed at 8:15PM.
Wednesday I hope to finish the weeding on Row 7 in the New Herb garden. I also have to do the last walkway which is pretty bad. I expect that’s all I will accomplish.
