Can we forgive, yes, can we forget, ,no, but we can choose not to act on it if we are a true believer. In the book of Isaiah 43:25; God has promised is to was away out sin no matter how small and big they are and he has also promised that he will not remember those sins, which means we can also forgive and choose to let go. >Hebrews 8:12; “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” Those scripture shows that God will be merciful and he will let go of our sins, but it was not stated that he has forgotten. And the word of God also teaches us that we should forgive others in the manner that God will also forgive us >1 Corinthians 13:5 - "Love keeps no record of wrongs." In summary, the bible which was inspired God has instructed us to always forgive others so that our God which is in heaven will also forgive us, and we should not carry on with the pain of those who might have hurt us, thereby using the pain to hurt them. But we should let go of the past. And basically, in bible way, forgive and forget mean that we should always forgive and and refer to the wrong that has been done. We should let go. --- *GOD BLESS YOU!* > `Thanks for reading` --- > Image is screenshot from the video
