Meet Our Hive Witness With Dhavey: An Open Letter to Our Hive Witnesses

Dear Hive Witnesses, Around four months back, I revived something dear to my heart—the `Meet Our Hive Witness Interview Series.` This interview idea was inspired by something very simple: the desire to close the gap between our witnesses and all of us in the Hive community, to bring insights, journeys, experiences, and genuine human moments into the spotlight. So far, so good. Since I started the interview, I have been privileged to interview 13 witnesses through the text-based interview, and it is no doubt that it has been an eye-opening experience for myself and those who have come across the interview. All the interviews so far have showcased the human side and the technical aspect - the vision, the motivation, the struggles, and the sacrifices that keep this blockchain that we are all using going and alive. To all the 13 witnesses out of the 100-plus witnesses who have given me their support, time, words, and the grace to get them interviewed and share it with the Hive community, I say a very big thank you. That opportunity you gave me through your openness has personally inspired me and a lot of Hivers to now understand better what witness work truly means. Going through the Hive Blockchain Witnesses list, Hive is home to over 200-plus witnesses, of whom 167 or thereabouts are still active, shouldering different stories, impacts, and perspectives of their own. This open letter is a humble request and invitation to those who I am yet to interview from the username tags below to please grant me safe passage and the opportunity to let me interview you so I can share your experience and journey also with the Hive community. I am not here to criticize anyone's work through my questions but to bring out the words of the backbone keeping the Hive Blockchain together and stronger. Every voice matters, which I believe Hivers are anticipating to hear one or two from you. Of course, I am very much aware that your time is valuable and you have piles of blocks to write and work to do which can sometimes be overwhelming. But even a very small moment of your time can leave a long-lasting impact on our minds. This interview series is not about me but about documenting our history together, a witness at a time -— It is about us. And to all my fellow Hivers who have been following suit by reading, commenting, asking me when the next interview will be, and encouraging this project, I am sincerely grateful; your support fuels me, to be honest. To the rest of the witnesses that I am yet to interview, I hope you will not see this as a stress or command but as a humble invitation to share your light and journey with us as a community that has trust in you. And I believe that in togetherness and unity, we will keep this blockchain moving and stronger not just by votes or coding alone, but by sharing each moment of our stories that binds us together.
