When everyone says they usually experience a silent midnight, well, this is not for me because when the noisy days fold away and then midnight surfaces, that is when I hear everything loud and clear: the dogs barking, the cricket sounds, the ticking of my wristwatches, and my fan rotating very fast. All these usually make me hear life differently.
Not always, but sometimes when fear grips my soul, I hear my heart racing so fast, I think I hear this louder during the dead of the night, maybe because the whole world is silent and almost everyone is fast asleep.
And at times, I hear some distant sound of generation in my neighborhood. I guess there are also some night owls who spend their night in a resourceful way. If not generator sounds, there are always some churches in my area that usually hold midnight prayers even though it is not Friday yet, and if not that, there are some random motorcycles and vehicles always moving around like a police van patrolling the area. But that is not the case because even these policemen are sleeping in their homes...lol 😂
But looking away from all these, for me, midnight is always productive because I find calm and more concentration away from daylight distractions. It is always when I think better, and I tend to picture what was done during the day and try to realign myself for the best.
Personally, midnight is not just about the silence; sometimes it is about planning, thinking, praying, and time when my mind is at peace and when I can even hear the sound of my own thoughts. It is almost four a.m. here. I guess I will stop here for tonight. Have a lovely night rest you all.
