In the teaching of Brother Eli, we are being told about how hatred is as a result of a spiritual force among believers. This is because Satan always loves to replay this wrong thing that is done to us in order for us to live a life of bitterness and not a life of love as God has instructed us. And this might turn us into a murderer if care is not taken in God's eyes. So, as it is mentioned in 1 John 3:15.
It's a very serious battle we normally face as believers. When we hold on to grudges so much it disqualifies us from the love of God and can stop us from receiving God's grace in our life. Brother Eli doesn't just talk about how it affects us. He also talks about how to get rid of this bitterness, this anger and malice, which is by forgiving one another just the way God did to us. For Christ also forgave us our sins. This can be found in Ephesians 4:31-32.
We are expected to walk in love as the children of God so that we can unlock the true grace and divine love that God has for us. Also, in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, we are being told that lovenis patient, love is kind, love is not respectful. We must endure all this, all this never-ending, love.
Sometimes forgetting our words can feel impossible but we need a heart check and allow love to reign in our life because God is always love. 1 John 4:8-16, that is where this scripture is getting from. So, when we dwell in the love of God, we are educated in the form of evil and bitterness from our heart.
2 Corinthians 1:15-16. It is bad as Christians to live a life of grudges. When we choose love, it replenish our hearts. We have to pray for everyone that has offended us. We have to forgive them so that we can enjoy internal life with God.
Thank you brother Eli for giving us this truth that heals us as Christians.
